Shipping Hazardous Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your shipment includes <strong>hazardous materials<\/strong>, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comply with ADR (by road) or IATA (by air) regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include two printed copies of the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS\/SDS) in the shipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clearly label hazardous items with appropriate warning signs in line with Turkish and international safety regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inform TARLA HSE (Health, Safety &amp; Environment) team in advance if any special storage or handling is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>? Only the minimum quantity required for the experiment should be shipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>?<\/strong><strong> International Shipments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users are responsible for customs clearance and for any charges arising from international shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To minimize delays:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attach 3 copies of the Commercial Invoice with detailed item descriptions (e.g., \"Non-hazardous geological samples for research only\").<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State the quantity, value, and purpose (research use only).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep shipment values realistic (suggested: ~$1 per sample, min. $20 total).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mark containers and packages as returnable where appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For shipments coming from the EU or other regions, include certificates such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Certificate of Origin<\/strong> (if applicable, for tax exemption)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Notify TARLA Shipping &amp; Receiving team at least one week in advance of the package arrival with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Carrier name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tracking number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invoice copy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any documents required for customs clearance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>?<\/strong><strong> Upon Arrival at TARLA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TARLA Shipping &amp; Receiving will notify the responsible beamline staff when your package has arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All non-hazardous packages will be delivered to the beamline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hazardous materials will be stored in the designated chemical storage room until needed, unless otherwise coordinated with the HSE office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2757Note: TARLA does not accept cash-on-delivery (C.O.D.) shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>?<\/strong><strong> Return Shipments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users are also responsible for return shipment costs.
